Ember Falls combines a unique brand of charisma and sublime musicianship with exceptional songwriting. Right from the outset, Ember Falls’ music has been built around fiery riffs infused with catchy pop. The band credits their sound influence to melodic metal, pop music, and electronic music. So far the band has gained an impressive amount of over 12 million streams, supporting tours for bands like W.A.S.P, Amaranthe, Pain andTurmion Kätilöt, a European tour, along with performances at numerous festivals and clubs in Finland and abroad to show their talent for audiences as far as Japan. The band unearths a fresh ground of metal, both sonically and thematically, combining elements of melodic metal, electro, and melodic hooks with a dual vocal interplay of brutality and massive choruses to drive the point home.
Their first single ‘Shut Down With Me’ was published independently in 2015. Following this, the band was signed worldwide to Spinefarm Records/Universal Music Group. Their explosive debut album ”Welcome to Ember Falls” dropped in February 2017. Produced by Jake E of ex-Amaranthe, current Cyhra fame, the album was an infectious conglomeration of chunky modern metal with muscular riffs, electro influences, rich arrangements, pop-tinged synthesizers, and the soaring vocals of Tuomas Välimaa. In 2019 the band changed their record label to set their basecamp under the wings of Ranka Kustannus.
The band takes a peek into the digital dimension of the close future where humanity is all but diminished to just its virtual existence. For years, the band released singles sparsely, but towards the end of 2021 they’ve been more active, and finally the end of the year will see the release of the Tampere-based tornado’s long-awaited sophomore album “Ruins”.
