We are very excited to announce that Block of Flats has joined Ranka! The band should be no stranger to our followers as they have been part of the two recent Ranka Tribute releases: in December we released their take on the Blind Channel hit ”Sharks Love Blood” and last week we got to enjoy their version on Bring Me the Horizon’s song ”True Friends” as part of the BMTH tribute-EP ’True Friends’.
We are extremely happy to get to to continue working with the guys and their new manager Katja Vauhkonen! The band is also stoked about this next step: ”Signing with Ranka Kustannus is a massive thing for us. We couldn’t be happier to have such a great team behind us now. From the first meeting with Riku things have felt right and natural. Based on Ranka’s history, we think we have found an excellent environment to grow our band and offer our fans even better music in the future. – and sooner than later it is: new, OG Block of Flats material is currently in the making with the producer Joonas Parkkonen and it won’t take too long for you to get the first taste! Also, the band will be delivering a kick-ass live show at Lost in Music Festival in Tampere late September. Sounds pretty good, right?
