We are happy to welcome Kneel Before The Death to the Ranka roster!
Kneel Before The Death, KBTD, is a four-piece extreme metal act from Helsinki. Their take on metal blends together elements from death metal, deathcore, symphonic metal, black metal and electronic music. The release of the single ’Eternal Sleep’ in 2023 launched a new chapter in the band’s story introducing the updated KBTD sound and the new singer to the metal scene. Since then the quartet has been building on their vision of theatrical, aggressive and epic metal that has been noticed also at Ranka:
“It is important for us to be involved in helping Finnish metal band with international potential to enter the market, and Kneel Before the Death is one of the few who has recently shown to be good enough for the task. To help out, we found an excellent studio wizard Jonathan Dolese from the US to finalize the KBTD sound. Metalcore and extreme metal are very popular at the moment and it will be interesting to see how Kneel Before The Death’s career develops” Riku Pääkkönen says.

The first single with Ranka will be released this Friday. ’Rise’ represents what KBTD is about: brutal vocals, grand orchestration, heavy breakdowns and powerful chorus. The track is mixed and mastered by Jonathan Dolese at KonKrete Studios. The band’s debut album will be released in 2025.
