The founder Riku Pääkkönen is expanding the Ranka team by bringing Minna Karppanen on board as Label Manager. Minna has previously worked at Warner Chappell Music as a Creative Manager attaining expertise in music publishing, and has years of other administrative experience within the music and creative field. With a Master’s Degree in music theory from the Sibelius Academy and being a trained musician herself (harpsichordist/continuo organist/pianist), she also has an in-depth understanding of music and music creation, which adds to her many-sided perspective on the industry. At Ranka Minna will be working on everything possible with Riku to ensure outstanding music is brought to people – and for Minna outstanding music comes in all shapes, sizes and genres, but especially in Baroque and metal.
